Diabetes Is Changing Malaysia

Setitis Sweetener is changing Malaysia. Obviously, Malaysians love food. Really much. But they do not watch their food pattern good enough. There is a lot of obesity and also diabetes in the country. The cause of this is sugar. Malaysian, Indian and Chinese food contain lots of sugar. Besides that, the western companies also contribute to the problem. In Malaysia there is a lot of fast food available, such as MC Donalds. In the last decade, the rise of diabetic patients in Malaysia rose to an astonishing 15 percent. Ten years ago, this was only 4 percent.

Diabetes and Sugar

Diabetes And Economic Development

When we look at the economic developments in Malaysia, we see a GDP that is rising quickly every year. This is also happening with the obesity and diabetes numbers. Could we say there is a connection? Yes we can. Because with economic development, comes more money. Malaysian are unknown with spending and are consuming a lot. They do not save like people do in Europe. We can see a connection also with the USA. There, people do not save and consume. They consume even money they do not have yet, with their credit cards.

Because the GDP is rising and Malaysia is thriving to be a developed nation, a lot of western companies are established here. With this comes the western influence of cheap fast food and other food that is unhealthy. The Malaysian food already was unhealthy and this is not helping the population to stay healthy.

At the moment, Malaysia has the highest number of diabetic patients compared to all the ASEAN countries. This needs to change, a statement from the Malaysian government says. But how is this change going to happen?

How Can Setitis Solve The Diabetic Problem

A new product, and hopefully rescue, on the Malaysian market is the Setitis one-drop sweetener. This is a substitute for sugar and can be used in both meals and drinks. Researchers have worked hard on this product to get it optimal. Now, it is 300 times stronger than sugar. This means you only need a small drop of the sweetener to let it do it’s work.

Hereby, Malaysians consume less sugar. Which helps lower the blood sugar level. But also, makes the chance on obesity and diabetes lower.

Diabetes Webshop In Malaysia

There are a lot of people in Malaysia who suffer from diabetes. The National Diabetes Institute wants to make the life of those patients easier. They do this with their diabetes webshop. On the webshop, products can be ordered concerning diabetes and food supplements. They will be send to the home address of the patient. This is more convenient, because they do not need to visit the pharmacy any longer. This results in less stress, and more free time to do fun stuff.
